The Macy’s product development team partnered with Martha Stewart food prep designers to create a proprietary collection of bakeware. As the lead designer of food prep, I met with the development team at USA Pan to understand manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes for the Martha Stewart collaboration. Through constant communication with the brand’s test kitchen, I designed the diagonal texture to optimize the manufacturer’s nonstick technology. The final texture was used throughout the collaborative product line.
